Ann Hamilton and Michael Mercil at The Ohio State University Art Department

In 2001, Ann Hamilton and Michael Mercil joined the faculty of the Department of Art at The Ohio State University where they teach a studio/seminar and administer an acclaimed visiting artists and scholars program.   Seminar sessions and related visitors events often take place at Hamilton and Mercil's shared off-campus studio. Both artists also act as independent study and graduate thesis advisors for a number of students within the Department of Art as well as for students from other academic disciplines.
